Description
- Previous versions of the 2.6.24 kernel package contained a regression in
- PCI device-sorting on some Dell and HP systems.
- On existing installations, this regression should have no impact, as
- network devices are typically configured using specific MAC addresses;
- on new installations, however, this regression may cause indeterminate
- ordering of network devices.
- A system reboot is required to resolve this issue.
