Use the automatic partitioning controls to specify whether existing data is removed by the installer or existing partitions are preserved and their free space used instead. You can also specify the removal of all existing Linux partitions or all existing partitions regardless of type.

  • Select Remove all Linux partitions on this system if the installer should remove all existing Linux partitions prior to installation.
  • Select Remove all partitions on this system if the installer should remove all partitions (of all types) prior to installation.
  • Select Keep all partitions and use existing free space if the installer should leave existing partitions as the are and install into the free space remaining in the existing partitions.
  • Use the check boxes next to each applicable disk drive device entry to select that disk as available for use in this installation.
  • Leave Review (and modify if needed) the partitions created checked to review the new partitions before they are created.
  • Click Next to continue with the installation.
  • Click Back to return to the previous screen.
