Disk Setup

Specify disk partitioning

If you are using automatic partitioning of the disk, you can review the new partitions and their characteristics here before the partitions are created. Information displayed about the partitions includes the device node, mount, partition type, and other details.

Some administrators may choose to modify the partitions with a series of controls:

  • New: Create a new partition
  • Edit: Change mount point and other partition parameters
  • Delete: Delete a partition
  • Reset: Cancel changes
  • RAID: Configure RAID device
  • LVM: Configure LVM volume
  • Hide RAID device/LVM Volume Group members: Check this to hide RAID and LVM entries from the listing
  • Click Next to continue with the installation.
  • Click Back to return to the previous screen.
