Installing Packages

Specify a root user password

Various dialogs are displayed pertaining to reading package information and installing packages. The length of time required to install packages varies with each appliance, mostly dependent on the size of the image. If the installation spans multiple CDs or DVDs, switch to the next disc when prompted.

When all packages are installed, the system displays an installation complete message.
