Appliance Administration --> Upload SSL Certificate

The rPath Appliance Platform Agent (rAPA) includes an Upload SSL Certificate task which is enabled by default. On this page, a rAPA user can upload custom SSL X.509 certificates, view a previously uploaded certificate, and regenerate a new certificate.

Use the following manage the SSL X.509 certificate for the appliance:

  1. Access and log in to the rPath Appliance Platform Agent web interface.
  2. Click Configuration from the rAPA menu at the left.
  3. Click Upload SSL Certificate from the expanded Configuration menu.
  4. To view the previously uploaded certificate, scroll the page to view the complete Current Certificate section.
  5. To upload a new certificate, click Browse beside the .PEM file text box, and browse and select the certificate file (with the .pem extension).
  6. Click Upload to start the upload.

Click Regenerate to generate a new certificate if the appliance hostname has changed or the current certificate has expired.

Clicking on the Regenerate button will display a message stating that this action will delete any existing certificate and regenerate it using the current hostname and default values. Click to proceed or cancel the regenerate action as appropriate.
