Conary --> Proxy
There are two proxy features that may be referenced when speaking of a proxy in terms of Conary:
- A web proxy for using HTTP and HTTPS
- Conary can be configured to use HTTP and HTTPS proxies with or without authentication. Conary version 1.1.24 introduced the HTTP Proxy setting and Conary version 1.1.27 brought the ability to use a proxy with authentication.

- A Conary proxy that caches changesets between a client and a repository
- Conary can be configured to use a Conary proxy between a Conary repository and the client system interacting with that repository. Multiple clients can use the same Conary proxy as a means of improving the efficiency of changeset operations.
