| Question: How can I reverse using a shadow of a package and go back to using its version on a parent (or other) branch? | ||
ANSWER: To undo a shadow, or to go back to using the parent package instead of the shadow, change the shadowed package to a redirect package, instead, pointing to the parent branch. You can also use a redirect to simply point to a different branch, even if it is not the shadow's parent branch. See Conary:Redirect Packages for more information.
