rPath Appliance Platform Agent: LightTPD Vulnerability

- Description
- LightTPD users have identified multiple vulnerabilities which can impact the rPath Appliance Platform Agent versions which use LightTPD. See the recent security advisories rPSA-2008-0084 and rPSA-2008-0106 for detailed information about these vulnerabilities.
- Required Actions
- If you are an appliance developer, rebuild your appliance groups which include lighttpd to ensure that they are using version 1.4.18-0.4-1 or later of lighttpd.
- If you are an appliance vendor, release the updated version of the appliance from developers and advise those with deployed appliances to schedule an appliance update as soon as possible.
