Problem with FTP
I installed the LAMP appliance with the intention of installing mediawiki 1.10 (I would have used the Mediawiki appliance but I need to use v 1.10).
I restored the mySQL database from a sql dump file and then started to load the mediawiki files via ftp. The files were copying without problem and then at the 1695th file, errors started to occur and all the copies failed after this point. The issue seems to be that I am unable to create any new directories. If I could create the necessary folders, I could copy the files but I receive a "permission denied" message when trying to create additional directories.
I have no clue as to why this suddenly occured. i should also mention that I tried this previously and experienced the same problem (i.e. after creating new folders without problems, i am unable to create any new folders for no apparent reason.
