rBuilder:User Roles
From rPath Wiki
An rBuilder user can be unregistered or registered, and registered users have project-based roles. A registered rBuilder user could be watching some projects while being a member of other projects. That user's memberships could be in the role of developer on some projects and project owner on others.

Unregistered User
An unregistered user is a user who is visiting rBuilder without registering as an rBuilder user, or who is visiting without having logged in. An unregistered user can find and read rBuilder project information and view repository contents.
When an unregistered user wants to watch or join a project, the user can create and account and sign in.
Registered User
A registered user is a user who has created an rBuilder account and signed in. A registered user has project-based roles, meaning the registered user's role is determined for the scope of a project and can vary from project to project.
Watcher
A watcher of a project is a registered user who has added the project to a watch list. A registered user's watch list is no more than a set of bookmarks for rBuilder projects. This list is under a section titled Projects I Am Watching in a user's project panel.
Any user can start or stop watching any project at any time.
Member
A member of a project is a registered user who has joined or been added to a project. Members can actively participate in development and management tasks related to a project. While all users can access and download a project's releases, only a project's members can modify the project itself in any way.
Registered users can request to join a project, and project owners will handle these requests. Members of a project can choose to resign from a project.
There are two types of members of a project: project owners and developers.
Projects in which a user is a member are displayed on the user's project panel on the right side of the rBuilder pages. Projects I Own is a list of projects in which the user is a project owner, and Projects I Work On is a list of projects in which the user is a developer.
