rBuilder:Watch a Project

From rPath Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

As a registered rBuilder user, you can create a list of bookmarks that are displayed in your project panel on the right side of each rBuilder page. These links will appear in a section called Projects I Am Watching. You can navigate directly to any of the projects listed by clicking its link in the list.

To watch projects in rBuilder, start by signing in to rBuilder using your account. If you need an rBuilder account, see Create an Account for instructions.

Use these steps to start watching a project.

  1. Use the Search or Browse project links provided in the rBuilder page header to find a project you wish to watch.
  2. Click the linked project name in the search or browse results to open the Project Home page for that project. Read the description provided for the project to verify that this is the project you wish to watch.
  3. Click View Project Membership on the Project Resources panel. The project's Members page lists all current project owners and developers, and it shows the number of users watching the project.
  4. Click Watch this project on the project's Members page. This link is replaced by a Stop watching this project link to use if you wish to reverse this decision.
  5. Verify a message appears above the content of the page to confirm you are watching the project.

If you are watching a project, you can stop watching it at any time by returning to the project's Members page and clicking Stop watching this project. Verify a message appears above the content of the page to confirm you have stopped watching the project.
