rBuilder Online:Orphans and Adopting

From rPath Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

An orphan is an rBuilder project that has been abandoned by previous project owners. An orphan will have no members since membership requires that a project owner is present. Like other projects, orphans may be watched by rBuilder users who are not members.

As a project's owner, you can choose to orphan the project by removing all members, including yourself. Click REMOVE FROM PROJECT beside any names on the project to forcibly remove them from the project. After all members have been removed from a project, it is considered orphaned and can be adopted by another rBuilder user.

As an rBuilder user, you can adopt an orphan. Click the Adopt this project link on the project's Members page link to adopt the orphan project.
