rBuilder Online:Resign a Project

If you are a member of an rBuilder project, you can resign your membership at any time by returning to the project's Members page.

Resign as a Developer

Use the following steps to resign from a project on which you are a developer:

  1. Navigate to the project in rBuilder.
  2. Click View Project Membership on the Project Resources panel.
  3. Click Resign from this project on the Members page.
  4. Click Yes on the confirmation page prompting you to verify your choice.
  5. Verify a message appears above the content of the page to confirm you have resigned from the project.

Resign as a Project Owner

Use the following steps to resign from a project on which you are a project owner:

  1. Navigate to the project in rBuilder.
  2. Click Manage Project Membership on the Project Resources panel.
  3. Click REMOVE FROM PROJECT beside your username on the Members page.
  4. Verify a message appears above the content of the page to confirm you have resigned from the project.

If there are no other project owners, another member must be promoted to project owner in your place before you can resign. Until a second project owner is promoted, the REMOVE FROM PROJECT option will not be available. However, you may remove yourself from the project if one of these conditions apply:

Impact on Watchers

Watchers on a project are not impacted by members joining or resigning the project.
