rPath Appliance Platform/Entitlement Service:Appliance

The Entitlement Service appliance is dedicated to managing software access using entitlements. rPath uses the Entitlement Service to service product channels for its products, and independent software vendors (ISVs) can choose to deploy an Entitlement Service appliance to manage updates for their own appliances.
All appliance users access the same rPath Appliance Platform Agent web interface to perform tasks. Whether managing entitlements or configuring the appliance, access the Appliance Platform web interface using one of the following URLs, replacing <appliance_hostname> with the fully qualified domain name of the Entitlement Service appliance:
- https://<appliance_hostname>:8003
- http://<appliance_hostname>:8004
