The rPath Appliance Platform Agent (rAPA) includes a Configuration plugin which is enabled by default, and Configure Proxy is part of that plugin. The plugin provides the Configure Proxy page in the rAPA web interface. The Configure Internet Proxy plugin allows a rAPA user to configure an HTTP proxy in environments where HTTP traffic goes through a proxy. Conary requires HTTP to check for and receive system updates.
