The rPath Appliance Platform Agent (rAPA) includes an Entitlements plugin which is enabled provided the file /etc/conary/entitlements.xml exists on the appliance. The plugin provides the Manage Entitlements page in the rAPA web interface. The Entitlements plugin allows a rAPA user to add an entitlement for the appliance to provide access to upstream repositories from which the appliance obtains updates.

See the Manage Entitlements page in the Appliance Administration pages for information on how to use the Entitlements plugin in the web interface.

Appliance Developer Notes

Appliance developers should include this plugin and an entitlements file (entitlements.xml) on an appliance to make use of rPath's Entitlement Service.
