rPath Community:IRC

From rPath Wiki

rPath provides IRC channels to provide real-time communication with rPath personnel. Note that there is no guarantee for responses to help requests in these environments, and urgent issues should be submitted to the rPath Issue Tracking System. IRC channels, like the rPath Forum, are not part of rPath's customer support offerings.

To access the IRC channels:

1. Obtain and configure an IRC client. See http://freenode.net/using_the_network.shtml for information on IRC clients.
2. Connect to a Freenode IRC server. See http://freenode.net/irc_servers.shtml for information on IRC servers at Freenode.
3. Join one or more of the rPath channels:

The Conary Channel (#conary)

Join this channel to discuss the Conary project and all facets of Conary, from software management to packaging software. Requests for assistance in this channel may be provided by any member of the Conary community as members are available.
